Raising up a child in the way they should go. That’s what the Bible tells us we should be about (Proverbs 22). We believe children are a great source of energy and life and we want to be part of God’s work in training them and helping them grow into young men and women of God. That is why we offer what we offer. It is why we do what we do.

Sunday School classes continue to be an opportune time to invest in our children and give them a foundation of Biblical teaching they will grow to depend on later in life. We have classes for every age group, every Sunday at 9:15 a.m. We also have adult classes discussing interesting topics at the same time.

Children’s Worship

We have a great rotation of teams who help out with Children’s Worship, provided during the second part of our morning worship service. Children up through the third grade are dismissed to join other children downstairs. There they study and worship together, learning about the different aspects of worship and why we do what we do.

kidZone

We are coming to the end of another school year! Our Wednesday night kidZone group focused on learning the 10 Commandments and about serving God. We will wrap up the year on Wednesday, May 25 with a night of fun and food.

If you have yet to see the wall of faces in the basement of the church, make it a priority to come check it out.  You can see the names and faces of all the children we have worked with throughout this school year.  We would love it if you would write down a few names and pray for these children and their families.

Mega Sports Camp

will be June 13-15. This camp is free to attend. Each day will last from 9 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Besides teaching your child the basics of their chosen sport, we will teach how we believe Jesus would compete. Lunch will also be provided.
1st-6th graders can choose between basketball, soccer or dance. Pre-K and Kindergarten will be on their own schedule.

Each child should bring a sports bottle.

Registration is open now by clicking here.

Leaders Needed
We are expecting this to be an exciting and teachable time for our church and community children, as they learn about sports and sportsmanship, discover character-building concepts, and have a whole lot of fun!  Every athlete experiences epic moments they’ll never forget – the first time they scored, their biggest victory or defeat, a time their team really counted on them for the win. At MEGA Sports Camp, students will find out that a relationship with Jesus can be marked with epic moments too. It doesn’t matter if the students have played sports all their life or just started yesterday, MEGA Sports Camp helps kids improve their skills. All sorts of drills and practice games will get kids focused on the fundamentals that make athletes great. Plus it creates a positive and encouraging environment that pumps up their confidence and self-esteem.

We need individuals, 7th grade and older that can help with:

-registration

-prayer support

-publicity

-guide the kids from one event to the next

-music

-provide and distribute snacks

-follow-up

Please keep in mind, during days of inclement weather, if Warsaw Community Schools close

on a Wednesday, kidZone is cancelled for that night.

Club 56 Banner with border

Club 56 refers to the new designation we’re giving fifth and sixth graders. They’re not yet teenagers, but they’re no longer little kids. That’s why some call this the stage of tweenager. They are between childhood and adolescence.  So we are meeting them where they are, given them some re-decorated space in what used to be called the Tower Room. Climb the stairwell at the north end of the church be sure to check it out.

Youturn_02

YOUturn, began in 2008, is our ministry for college age and young adults. Our locations vary, so be sure to connect with us on Facebook (YOUturn).

YOUturn is our ministry that invites college students and other young adults looking for a place to worship God, a family to join and a ministry to serve. We know you have a very unique schedule, yet are always looking for a place to connect. By offering yummy home cooked meals (a college student fave), interesting discussions and unique activities, we hope to create an atmosphere to attract and build up young disciples in Jesus Christ.

On Sunday, May 1, another year of YOUturn, our ministry to college and college-age students, will come to a close. As Grace students push through one last week of exams and final projects, we will celebrate the year we’ve had together. And since they will need extra study time, our group time will consist of some food to give them energy and prayer to give them hope.

We will also send off our college graduates; Edward Coplin, Wesley Gensch and Travis Payne. Continue to be in prayer for each of the students as they finish this school year.
